Biography
Nancy has demonstrated strengths in helping clients with all phases of their job search including interview preparation and practice, resume writing, creating a comprehensive job search plan and negotiating salaries. She is accomplished in one-on-one coaching, workshop facilitation and managing career centers.
She has provided services to current and former employees from Intel, Freescale, Motorola, On Semiconductor, Microchip Technologies, Honeywell, RR Donnelley, St. Joseph’s Hospital, AT&T, Charles Schwab, Wells Fargo, Prudential Insurance, Arizona State University, The Apollo Group and more. Her clients have a strong track record of success and consistently provide positive feedback on the impact Nancy has had on their lives.
Her background includes extensive experience in human resources, career development, project management, and customer service. She has planned and managed Career Resource Centers and services for local and national organizations. She conducted group training and provided individual consulting to more than 3,000 individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills.
Nancy’s prior experience includes working as a Career Management Consultant with Drake Beam Morin (DBM), with Intel Corporation as a Diversity Program Manager in Global Staffing and as People Systems Manager, Owner of Beeson Career Management Services, LLC, Recruiting Manager for an employee leasing company and Executive Director of an agency the provides services to developmentally disabled adults.
Nancy earned a Masters in Public Administration with an emphasis in Management from C.W. Post division of Long Island University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Queens College, City University of New York. She has additional courses in counseling at New York University. She earned certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Originally from New York City, Nancy now resides in Arizona. In addition to her career consulting practice she volunteers for the local library where she assists adults and children in the Learning Lab.
She has been through several downsizings and personal career transitions. She can easily empathize with those going through transitions and help them move forward. Nancy blends a combination of experience and skills with a positive outlook and ability to quickly understand her clients’ needs.
