Biography
As the senior Human Resource leader for the University of Florida Jacksonville Healthcare Inc. and University of Florida Jacksonville Physicians, Inc., Mary currently holds the title of Director of Human Resources, a position she also held in her two previous roles in Augusta, Georgia: one in a healthcare system and the other in an international technology company with over 36,000 employees worldwide.
Mary has over twenty five years of management experience. She has worked her way through various opportunities and industries until she found her calling in Human Resources. Her various positions include: working as a retail clerk, an administrative assistant, a paralegal, an HR representative, owned her own home-décor business, an HR Manager, an HR staffing agency representative, and a college professor, all prior to becoming an HR Director in 2002. Mary also served in the U.S. Army in both active duty and reserve status until she retired in 2001. While serving twenty years in the military (seven active duty and thirteen reserve), she was a Personnel Administrator, a Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defense Instructor, Inspector General - Investigations Specialist, Equal Opportunity Advisor, Leadership Development Instructor for both Basic and Advanced Courses and the Legal Services Organization First Sergeant for the South East Regional Command.
