Encompass Group Colorado is a privately owned consultation and strategy company, dedicated to effective business practices. With almost 30 years invested in business management, leadership training, and Real Estate development, Jim Janco has enjoyed oversight of operations for both small and large companies. His extensive experience encompasses overall operations, customer satisfaction, best management practices, sales, marketing, profit and loss, warranty and issue mitigation, process improvement, education, and team development. Jim values his designation as a Certified Sales Professional and International Code Council Class A General Contractor resulting in hundreds of millions in sales and development on over 1,200 projects and millions of square feet of commercial construction.
As a Professional Development Strategist and Facilitator, Jim’s strengths include a unique ability to effectively facilitate large groups, lead and instruct individual teams and team projects, while developing and implementing systems that enhance profitability, increase customer satisfaction, and excite professionals with quality direction and competitive practices.
Change Implementation, Restructuring and/or turning a company in a new direction can be a daunting and intimidating task. Jim’s ability to create mutually beneficial issue resolutions - even in the most difficult situations - is well known among his peers. His systematic and surgical manner of developing and implementing change, both in people and processes, has assisted numerous companies improve their performance and position.
Jim has been requested to speak at the Next-Gen-Expo, International Builder Show, sought as a Home Builders Association course instructor, Realtor Association Educator, customer service summit panelist, and many, many other speaking engagements. His business approach was the source material for several leadership and management studies, including the University of Colorado. Syndicated columns have published his comments, viewpoints, articles, and observations, including Builder Magazine, business periodicals, and newspapers across the country. Family is an important part of Jim’s life. He enjoys time with his wife of 25 years, Denise, and their two daughters, Marisa and Maggie.
As part of the HBA, he has been nominated as HBA President, and served as Executive Vice-President, Secretary for the Metro Denver Home Builders Association, Chairman of the HBA Strategic Planning Committee, and currently on the Home Builders Foundation Board of Directors. In addition, he has served as the Chairman of the HBA Sales and Marketing Council, SMC Programs Committee Chairman, and worked with the Colorado Association of Home Builders, Governmental Affairs Committee.
